 NEW NEWS:

1-14-12  2012 schedule is set. Please check calendar for next match details.

1-6-12  2011 points updated.  Congrats to all and especially the top 3.

Steve Montgomery, 2011 Champion!
Mike Smith, 2011 runner up!
Lowell Weidman, 2011 third place!
Of mention is that only 4 matches were missed by top 3 for the whole 2011 series!

New news, there will be some stage changes for the 2012 year.  Expect higher round count, bigger targets on some stages, prizes on certain stages and a full year of matches.  We currently have 11 matches under 1100yds, 2 matches between 400-2800yds and at least 2 night matches under 900yds!  We are also working in 2 new shooter clinics and bringing in other instuctors to host classes.

We are currently finalizing dates for a class by Gunwerks, known for their TV show, Long Range Pursuit.  Details to follow, email me for questions or concerns and tentative date looks around May 18th & 19th.  The link to their site is here.  My email is azprc@live.com.  Thanks to Bob and Carl for making this come together!

11-4-11  I guess as the saying goes "rain or shine, here we come".  Should be interesting.  Looks like we will get a small break in the weather for the Saturday night  and Sunday day matches.  Hope to see you all this weekend.  The matches are still on.  Please call with any questions.  (928) 308-8093

10-24-11  The night shoot is on for November 5th.  Shooters meeting at 1745.  No night vision required, targets will be individually lit.  COF will be around 30 rounds.  We will have prizes for top shooter.  Entry fee is $5.  Camping is available on site.  Please bring warm clothes and a small light to use for setting the gun up.

10-21-11  We are looking into interest of having a night shoot.  Please email me if this is something you would like us to do.  We are primarily looking at using chem-lights at the target for identification along with painting the targets with reflective paint.  Please let me know if you would like to see the whole course set up this way or if you have any suggestions.  info@azprc.net.

10-14-11  2011 points and One Mile Club have been updated.  Email me if any thing was missed.  Thanks for you patience with the points for the year.  Next match will be November 6th at the Ashfork location.  See you guys then.

10-09-11  October Scores have been updated.  We have not updated the 2011 overall points but will do so by the end of the week.  Congrats to Steve Montgomery again.  Two in a row for match wins.  DMC paid 1st and 3rd place with cash.  1st, 3rd and 5th also received Shockwave exploding targets.  Thanks Anthony, The Gray's and the Brigg's for making it happen.

27 shooters with 13 spectators is a great turnout!  Thanks to all that came up to shoot and hang out.  12 new shooters came out and gave it a go and all did great for their first match.  We all got hit with the Ashfork wind which was sporatic at best.  We also had several new entries into the AZPRC One Mile Club and several hits at the 2200yd target.  No broken targets during the normal stages.  Again, thanks to all!!!

10-07-11  Pictures have been updated and presented in slide show format.  We will get more pics uploaded this weekend.

09-29-11  Ashfork Turkey shoot information has been updated on the upcoming events page.  Please call Bob Briggs with any questions.  (928) 237-7369.

09-26-11  Thanks to all that showed up.  Overall we had 30 shooters.  Again, I want the thank the Grays and Briggs for making all this come together.  The next match will be on October 9th at the Ashfork location.  We are also gonna support the Ashfork Turkey shoot which will be on October 2nd.  We will post more information on that when we know more.

09-13-11  October match will be sponsored by Anthony or Marie at DMC Distribution.  They are the local dealer/distributor for Shockwave Exploding Targets.  Please call or email them if you need any.  dmc_distribution@yahoo.com or (928) 772-7499 and tell them thanks.  Pricing is available on the upcoming events calender.

09-09-11  New shooter clinic and free DOPE day has been added to the calender for September 25th.  It will begin at 0800.  More information can be found HERE.  Please email ME if you plan to attend so we have a head count.  We are using this as a stepping stone into one of the matches that can be found here in Arizona (either us or down in Phoenix, LRPRS) or in Vegas.  This will be a free day and thanks to Bob Briggs and Carl Gray for sponsoring this event.  We will have mentors on hand to help with any questions that you may have and any help that you may need.  If you are one of our regular shooters, please let me know if you can come out and help be one of our mentors.

09-07-11  AZPRC One Mile Club page is now active.  We will discuss more to follow shortly.  It is under construction but is partially ready and rules will be pending shortly.

09-05-11  Congrats to Steve Montgomery with his first win of the year!  Followed up by Cory Trapp in second and Bob Briggs in third.  We also had several notable finishes.  Doug Trego finished fourth, two new shooters, Nick Petric and Titu Negovan, had good results considering both brought new guns out.  Nice job to all that put up with the 90 degree day.  We also hung around after the match and shot the guns to mile.  If you are gonna be at the next match, plan to stay after and shoot the mile target!  Thanks Steve M. for bringing out the mile target.
